OUR STORY
The Stockholm Catalyst: A New Era of Diaspora Financial Power
Every transformative movement has a defining moment—a single change that turns potential into purpose. For DCC, that moment arrived under the bright Scandinavian skies of Stockholm, Sweden, in May 2025.
At the NIDO Sweden Business Hangout 3.0, Coach Omiete Inko-Tariah's presentation "Wealth Creation and Financial Success for Professionals Abroad" sparked a realization shared by many: individual success abroad meant little if it couldn't secure a dignified future back home.
AN INSTITUTIONAL MANDATE
Answering the Clarion Call
After the session, Nigeria's Acting Ambassador to Sweden (Charge d'Affaires) and the NIDO Sweden Chairperson, Dr Halima Balogun issued a patriotic challenge—to move beyond observation and create a structured community that contributes actively to Nigeria's economy.
This call united Coach Omiete Inko-Tariah and Francis Ufuoma Otuoba, who realized that the barrier for the diaspora was not opportunity but organization. They conceived the Diaspora Capital Cooperative as a structured, disciplined SPV built on pooled capital, shared expertise, and collective impact.

BUILDING BLACKROCK-LEVEL RIGOR
The Pedigree of Founders
The DCC's foundation required more than goodwill: it demanded world-class financial rigor.
Francis Ufuoma Otuoba spearheaded the formation, assembling a core group of exceptional professionals across Europe and North America with over 60 years of combined experience in banking, consulting, telecoms, real estate, and coaching.
Together, the founders established DCC as a globally vetted engine of disciplined, cooperative finance, transforming fragmented efforts into collective economic power.
